BIOGRAPHY & PRESS
in a tweet: “European-Egyptian artist, who has always been torn between cultures, continents, scientific curiosity and artistic drive. Loves to add moments to songs that tickle your body.”
Restlessness and a hunger for adventure have been crucial elements in the world of Naheli right from the beginning. From Egypt to Europe, from a solo project to a full band and later back again - Naheli is continuously on the move, soaking up ideas like a creative sponge that isn't afraid to take turns and detours.
For her, every human being is the same. Yet every human being is influenced by their thoughts, their upbringing, cultural background and surrounding. Naheli is the attempt to search for those connections and differences, and you can hear that in the cinematic music as well.
The singer's warm voice and the hypnotic impulses of the drums can spark nostalgic emotions.
